Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was as a captain and a participant for the 2012 Fierce 5 and 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. In the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals in team and floor competitions and bronze medal for the balance beam. This made her the first American gymnast of the Olympics to earn the most medals. The year she was in 2016, and her partner Gabby Doug were the first Americans to win back-to-back team golds. Also, silver medals were awarded in the individual all-around as well as floor workouts. Her break was three years between each Olympics from gymnastics competition. The gold medal she won for the American team also took part in the two World Championships. As a young girl, she began to learn gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is the floor exercise. Aly believes in with the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who died due to cancer. In the future, she plans to make a career in fashion. Also, she would like to broaden her leotards and socks collection. Fierce is a book that she will release later this year.
