Ellie Jane Goulding is a British citizen born on the 30th of December 1986. Tracey Goulding Summers was her mother. Arthur Goulding belonged to a family of undertakers. Goulding is the second of three children with a brother called Alex and a sister who is older named Isabel as well as a sister known as Jordan. Alex is her elder brother who plays bass with a Hereford group. At the age of a young girl her mother encouraged her to become music teacher. When she reached the age of nine old, she started learning to play the clarinet. In her 14th year she began writing music. But, she did not actually begin writing songs until her college years. She developed a Meaningful Beauty line in collaboration with Jean-Louis Sebagh and Guthy-Renker. In the same year she released the Cindy Crawford Home Collection a furniture collection.
